Bath Powder

Pure corn starch (no perfumes, no talc) makes a nice light bath
powder. Or it can be used to extend commercial bath powder
by mixing 1 cup (250 mL) corn starch with 1/2 cup (125 mL) bath
powder. Let stand for a few days to blend scent.

Scented Bath Powder
For a scented corn starch bath powder, mix layers of fragrant
flower petals (rose, lavender) with corn starch. Shake the mixture
several times and let sit for one day. Then sift the mixture to remove
petals. Repeat process for four or five days or until the powder
is well scented.

Light Facial
For a light facial, mix 1/4 cup (50 mL) corn starch, one egg white
and enough milk, about 2 tablespoons (30 mL), for a smooth consistency. Wash face and neck, rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Apply a thin layer
of facial mix, let stand 15 minutes. Rinse and pat dry.
